I’m recruiting on behalf of an exciting and innovative engineering business seeking a Production Manager to support their cutting-edge submerged manufacturing facility. This is a hands-on role ideal for a mechanically minded professional with a passion for production support, preventive maintenance, and driving continuous improvement in a fast-paced environment.

Key Responsibilities for the Production Manager job:

  • Provide mechanical support for submerged plant production equipment and processes.
  • Plan and execute preventative maintenance and calibration schedules independently.
  • Ensure accurate and up-to-date documentation (PPMs, calibration certificates, RAMS, etc.).
  • Lead troubleshooting and resolution of equipment breakdowns (e.g., chambers, engraving machines).
  • Use SAP to manage asset tracking, tooling databases, and raise/track SPRs.
  • Support New Product Introductions (NPI) and production ramp-ups (NRP).
  • Promote Lean/6S practices and identify improvement opportunities.
  • Act as a mentor and promote a strong culture of safety, quality, and accountability.
