Our client based in Bordon, Hampshire specialise in the design and manufacture of highly complex power electronics. We are searching for a Production Engineer to join our clients dynamic team in Bordon. This is a hands-on engineering position ideal for someone with a passion for lean methodologies, problem-solving and improving production systems.
Responsibilities as a Production Engineer in Bordon:
- Develop, document, and optimise manufacturing processes for efficiency, quality, and repeatability
- Drive continuous improvement initiatives using lean tools (5S, Kaizen, VSM, RCA)
- Collaborate with design, quality and production teams for smooth new product introductions
- Lead process validation activities including PFMEA, capability studies and FAIs
- Troubleshoot process issues and implement effective corrective actions
- Create and maintain process flows, SOPs, work instructions and control plans
Requirements as a Production Engineer in Bordon:
- Degree or HND/HNC in Manufacturing, Mechanical, Electronics Engineering, or related
