We are currently recruiting for a Service & Commissioning Engineer based near Norwich with a growing engineering company that provides control and safety solutions for complex systems. The role involves the testing, commissioning, validation and servicing of low-voltage industrial control systems, primarily on site. Work covers both hardware and software elements, including PLC and SCADA-based systems as well as embedded technologies where applicable. Activities span internally developed products, business development initiatives and bespoke solutions, delivered across both onshore and offshore client locations.

What You’ll Do As A Service & Commissioning Engineer:

  • Test software on Rockwell and Siemens platforms
  • Prepare project documents and keep accurate records
  • Visit client sites for installation, testing, servicing, and commissioning (onshore and offshore)
  • Provide on-call support as part of a service rota
  • Work with clients during Factory Acceptance Testing (FAT) and Site Acceptance Testing (SAT)

Requirements For A Service & Commissioning Engineer:

  • Comfortable using Word, Excel, and databases
  • Experience commissioning industrial process, control, and safety systems
  • Knowledge of Rockwell and/or Siemens software, including troubleshooting and fixing problems
