We’re seeking an Engineering Manager near Northampton, to help deliver high-performance, mission-critical RF systems. You would be responsible for leading the R&D group and overseeing both new product development.
Key Responsibilities:
- Manage and support a multidisciplinary engineering team.
- Oversee resource planning for new product development and revenue-focused projects.
- Coordinate with internal stakeholders across the product lifecycle to ensure engineering commitments are met.
- Develop, maintain, and audit engineering processes and procedures.
- Lead and manage key engineering projects, including NPI and commercial initiatives.
- Track, own, and report on engineering KPIs.
- Represent engineering in sales order acknowledgements and other important meetings.
- Contribute to technical design and development alongside senior engineering leaders.
- Conduct and approve technical reviews.
This position involves close collaboration with multidisciplinary teams and demands strong systems thinking and leadership in technical delivery.
Key Requirements:
- Evidence of direct ownership of embedded software, hardware, RF, systems, or mechanical engineering teams within an R&D/NPI product development environment.
- Experience in delivering technical projects and products.
- Line Management.

- Experience of working in an ISO 9001 environment and managing processes and procedures.
- Appreciation of Engineering tasks to aid planning and technical acumen.
- Must be a British citizen or eligible for UK Security Clearance (SC).
