I’m currently working on a fantastic opportunity for a Project Administrator to join a well-established engineering environment in Bristol on a 6-month fixed-term contract. This is an excellent role for someone who enjoys working in structured, technical environments and wants to develop their experience within project delivery / PMO support.

The role

You’ll be supporting Project Managers and delivery teams across active engineering projects, ensuring everything runs smoothly from an administrative and coordination perspective. Key responsibilities include:

  • Maintaining project documentation (logs, trackers, actions, risks, minutes)
  • Supporting reporting, dashboards, and project updates
  • Coordinating meetings, workshops, and follow-ups
  • Tracking actions and ensuring timely completion of deliverables
  • Supporting onboarding and team coordination activities
  • Assisting with project governance and secondment/admin processes where required

The environment

This is a structured engineering setting where accuracy, organisation, and clear communication are essential. You’ll be working closely with technical teams, so being comfortable in a fast-paced, detail-focused environment is key.

Who this suits

This role would suit someone with experience in:

  • Project coordination / PMO support
  • Engineering or technical administration
  • Operations or project-based environments
  • Strong organisational and documentation skills

You don’t need to be a “pure project manager” — but you do need to be confident working with structure, data, and multiple stakeholders.
