NEW MAINTENANCE ENGINEER IN WHITSTABLE.

A leading manufacturer of a range of complex electronic applications for the military and aerospace industries.

Our client is looking for a proactive Maintenance Engineer to join a growing and forward-thinking maintenance team.

You will play a key role in maintaining plant, machinery, and facilities while supporting projects such as new equipment installations, site improvements, and sustainability initiatives.

This role offers variety, responsibility, and the opportunity to contribute directly to operational efficiency and reliability.

Responsibilities as an Maintenance Engineer in Whitstable.

  • Diagnose equipment failures, identify root causes, and carry out effective repairs to restore operational performance.
  • Perform Planned Preventative Maintenance (PPM) and Condition-Based Monitoring, identifying and coordinating remedial actions.
  • Use the CMMS system to manage work orders, prioritise tasks, and contribute to daily maintenance planning meetings.
  • Provide a timely and effective response to breakdowns, emergencies, and unplanned maintenance issues.
  • Work with and maintain specialist equipment including PLC-controlled machinery, hydraulic and pneumatic systems.
  • Maintain accurate maintenance records, documentation, and reports within the maintenance database.

Requirements as an Maintenance Engineer in Whitstable.

  • Experience in a similar maintenance engineering role within a manufacturing or industrial environment.
