An exciting opportunity has arisen for a Technical Sales Manager – Embedded, in the UK, to join a market leader in advanced technology solutions. This field-based role offers the chance to directly impact key sectors including Medical, Transportation, Marine, Agricultural Technology & Industrial by driving bespoke embedded computing solutions.
Key Responsibilities:
- Drive new business growth by identifying and winning high-potential accounts.
- Promote design-in opportunities to generate long-term, recurring revenue streams.
- Deliver technical sales support on embedded platforms, display systems, and edge technologies.
- Lead negotiations, close deals, and manage post-sales activities.
- Build and maintain relationships across R&D, Engineering, and C-suite levels.
Location: This is a field-based role in the UK with flexibility for regular customer visits and some travel to A sites or partner events.
Required Experience and Skills:
- Degree in Engineering (Electronics, Computer, Aerospace, Telecom) or Commercial discipline.
- Strong knowledge of embedded computing and display solutions.
- Proven success in selling embedded systems including 19” racks, rugged enclosures, panel PCs, AI/IoT platforms, and custom-engineered products.
- Experience with technical sales involving design and manufacturing.
Other Requirements:
- Valid UK driving licence.
- UK passport due to MOD contract engagement.
