- Assembly and Test Engineer job – Key Responsibilities
- Carry out production testing of specialist electronic radio equipment.
- Complete fault diagnosis and repair to bare board level using specialist RF test equipment.
- Perform system configuration, final unit testing and validation of test procedures.
- Support mechanical assembly, wiring assemblies, cable manufacture and kitting activities.
- Manage workload effectively to meet agreed specifications and timescales.
- Attend training to develop technical knowledge and support career progression.
- Assembly and Test Engineer job – Skills & Experience
- HND level qualification or equivalent in Electronics Engineering or a related discipline.
- Background in electronics testing within an advanced RF environment.
- Experience working with radio-based products and RF test equipment, including spectrum analysers and signal generators.
- Knowledge of product assembly, crimping, wiring and kitting would be beneficial.
- Strong attention to detail with good organisation and problem-solving skills.
- Ability to work effectively as part of a technical team.
- Suitable for UK Mo D security clearance and able to meet relevant requirements.
