We are looking for a Regional Technical Manager to support high-quality commercial kitchen equipment used by professional kitchens, helping them deliver great food efficiently and reliably. You will lead the service partner network across Southwest England in a hands-on role, combining strong technical knowledge with people skills to make sure customers receive the best possible service.

Responsibilities

  • Support and guide service partners in your area, helping them deliver excellent service.
  • Check how service partners are performing and help improve where needed.
  • Train service partners and, if needed, other technicians.
  • Visit customers to help solve technical issues and support installations or events.
  • Troubleshoot problems and work with the team to fix escalated issues.
  • Review service metrics and customer feedback to spot opportunities for improvement.
  • Help with spare parts support and technical projects.
  • Travel in your territory up to 50% of the time and be available for support when needed.

Requirements

  • Strong technical skills able to read wiring diagrams, understand gas systems, and use basic diagnostic tools.
  • Gas Safe Certification (Comcat 5).
  • Hands-on experience fixing or maintaining equipment (food equipment, HVAC, automotive, or similar industries).
  • Technical training or apprenticeship is a plus.
  • At least 3 years experience as a technician, lead hand, or supervisor.
  • Comfortable training others.
  • Good Microsoft Office skills (Excel, Word, PowerPoint).
  • Strong communication skills and a customer-first attitude.
  • Full UK driving license and passport for occasional international travel.
