An exciting opportunity has arisen for a Process Engineer to join a leading manufacturing organisation based in Gloucester. This permanent role offers the chance to play a key part in driving optimisation, efficiency, and quality across complex production processes.
The Process Engineer will work within the Quality department and will be responsible for developing process controls, reducing waste, and ensuring high standards of performance across the value stream. The role will also involve supporting the introduction of new products and processes, applying proven methodologies to strengthen production capabilities.
Key Responsibilities of the Process Engineer:- Drive optimisation and continuous improvement within manufacturing processes in Gloucester.
- Develop and maintain process controls, PFMEA, and Control Plans.
- Create and manage process maps to improve flow and reduce waste.
- Analyse and monitor production data, recommending improvements.
- Support the introduction of new products and processes into the Gloucester site.
- Significant Process Engineering experience in a complex manufacturing environment.
- Strong problem-solving and analytical skills with a data-driven mindset.
- Working knowledge of Lean tools such as Value Stream Mapping, SPC, and 5S.
- Experience with APQP tools (PFMEA, PPAP, Control Plans) desirable.
