EXCITING JOB OPPORTUNITY FOR A FIELD SERVICE ENGINEER TO JOIN A LEADING SCIENCTIFIC COMPANY TO BE BASED IN NORTHERN IRELAND.
Our client is experiencing continued growth, and as a result, they are seeking a skilled and motivated Field Service Engineer to join their team and be based in Northern Ireland covering all of Ireland. In this role, you will be responsible for providing exceptional service to their new and existing customers by building and maintaining strong relationships. You will work at various customer sites, both within the UK and internationally, and be involved in the installation, maintenance, repairs, and training related to their IRMS and EA product lines.
Responsibilities for the Field Service Engineer job based in Northern Ireland:
- Conduct installations, repairs, preventative maintenance, upgrades, compliance testing, and training for customers across the UK and overseas.
- Ensure all service contract work is performed efficiently and in line with the scope of the agreement, focusing on resolving critical issues promptly.
- Manage your schedule effectively to ensure all work is completed to the highest standards, enhancing customer satisfaction.
- Maintain accurate records of onsite activities through detailed reports and expense claims.
- Provide onsite support for IRMS and EA products globally.
- Foster and maintain professional relationships with customers, ensuring their loyalty and promoting repeat business.
- Conduct testing of upgrades and repairs at the factory.
Qualifications and Skills for the Field Service Engineer job based in Northern Ireland:
- A degree in a scientific field or relevant experience is preferred.
- Excellent problem-solving and communication skills.
- Strong technical background and familiarity with scientific tools and technologies.
- Ability to work independently and collaboratively as part of a team.
- Experience working in various laboratory environments and troubleshooting and repairing complex issues is desirable but not essential.
- Valid driver\’s license and willingness to travel to customer sites within the UK and internationally.
