We are seeking a Design Engineer to join our growing engineering team, supporting the development of innovative electromechanical products and systems. This role will focus on new product development, creating 3D CAD models, manufacturing drawings, bills of materials, and technical documentation while ensuring designs meet customer requirements and industry standards.
The ideal candidate will have experience using CATIA (preferred) or similar CAD software, alongside a strong understanding of product development processes and electromechanical design principles. Candidates from rail, automotive, industrial electronics, or other engineering sectors with experience designing products that incorporate electronic components will be particularly well suited.
Key responsibilities include:
- Developing new design solutions
- Supporting prototype testing and validation
- Conducting technical investigations
- Producing engineering documentation
- Collaborating with customers and internal teams to deliver high-quality products
Experience with FMEA, Design for Manufacture (DFM), and working within regulated engineering environments would be advantageous.
