We are recruiting for an Electronics Technician to join a well-established engineering and manufacturing organisation based in Enfield. This is a hands-on role working on high-specification electromechanical and PCB-based systems used in advanced technology applications. You will be involved in the assembly, testing, and rework of complex electronic equipment within a quality-driven production environment.

Key Responsibilities

  • Assembly and build of electronic and electromechanical systems
  • PCB work including soldering (through-hole and surface mount)
  • Rework and repair of assemblies to component level
  • Wiring, crimping, and cable assembly
  • Testing and fault finding using standard test equipment
  • Working from engineering drawings, schematics, and procedures
  • Inspecting your own work and maintaining high quality standards
  • Supporting continuous improvement and production processes

Requirements

  • Experience in electronics manufacturing or production
  • Strong PCB assembly and soldering skills
  • Ability to read and follow technical drawings and schematics
  • Experience with testing and fault finding
  • High attention to detail and quality standards

Desirable

  • IPC standards (IPC-A-610, IPC J-STD-001, IPC-A-620)
  • Electromechanical assembly experience
  • Cable assembly, wiring, and crimping
  • Experience within high-reliability or regulated industries
