We are recruiting for an Electronics Technician to join a well-established engineering and manufacturing organisation based in Enfield. This is a hands-on role working on high-specification electromechanical and PCB-based systems used in advanced technology applications. You will be involved in the assembly, testing, and rework of complex electronic equipment within a quality-driven production environment.
Key Responsibilities
- Assembly and build of electronic and electromechanical systems
- PCB work including soldering (through-hole and surface mount)
- Rework and repair of assemblies to component level
- Wiring, crimping, and cable assembly
- Testing and fault finding using standard test equipment
- Working from engineering drawings, schematics, and procedures
- Inspecting your own work and maintaining high quality standards
- Supporting continuous improvement and production processes
Requirements
- Experience in electronics manufacturing or production
- Strong PCB assembly and soldering skills
- Ability to read and follow technical drawings and schematics
- Experience with testing and fault finding
- High attention to detail and quality standards
Desirable
- IPC standards (IPC-A-610, IPC J-STD-001, IPC-A-620)
- Electromechanical assembly experience
- Cable assembly, wiring, and crimping
- Experience within high-reliability or regulated industries
