Role and ResponsibilitiesYou will have a pivotal role in managing their supply chain operations, ensuring consistent delivery of goods and materials, and implementing procurement best practices. Your responsibilities will include:
- Ensuring a continuous supply of goods and materials in alignment with company guidelines, while promptly addressing any potential supply problems.
- Collaborating with stakeholders and suppliers to understand new projects, demand, and supply initiatives, and communicating their potential impact on purchasing and production activities.
- Implementing cost-saving strategies through effective negotiation and procurement best practices.
- Identifying opportunities for operational efficiency improvements, value addition, and continuous business enhancement.
- Ensuring compliance with procurement procedures by internal customers and guiding colleagues in utilizing ERP/MRP systems for procurement and supply activities.
- Managing and developing sources of supply, including performance monitoring and optimization.
- Applying strategic decision-making techniques to formulate improvements in procurement and supply chain management.
- Staying updated on market trends and competitor strategies to anticipate potential supply and demand impacts.
A-level and University degree (desirable). Professional qualifications such as CIPS, Institute of Supply Chain, or APICS (minimum: Advanced Diploma in Procurement and Supply Operations). Extensive knowledge of Microsoft Office, SharePoint, and ERP systems (Oracle JD Edwards preferred). Strong organizational skills, attention to detail, and methodical approach. Proven ability to drive improvements and take ownership of tasks. Excellent influencing skills and a team-oriented mindset.
