Our client is a specialist digital optimisation agency based in London, focused on helping businesses grow through better use of data. The agency was founded by highly experienced digital analytics leaders who have previously helped build one of the UK’s largest and most respected analytics consultancies, bringing more than 35 years’ combined expertise across web analytics, CRO, SEO and data strategy.

The agency partners with brands to create trusted, comprehensive and future-ready datasets. It then helps clients unlock value from that data through training, dashboarding, reporting support and the integration of analytics data with wider business data sources. This includes building single sources of truth and supporting predictive modelling to drive commercial growth.

This is a small but fast-growing agency with ambitious plans to become a leading name in web analytics, CRO and SEO. It is looking for people who want to make a meaningful impact, contribute ideas and help shape how the agency continues to grow. The culture is centred on building one of the best working environments in digital analytics.

We are seeking an experienced Analytics Manager or Senior Analytics Manager to join on a maternity cover contract, supporting the Analytics team in delivering high-quality web analytics implementation work and Google Cloud reporting solutions. The role will suit someone with around 4–5+ years’ experience in digital analytics, tagging and implementation, who is confident working across multiple client accounts and leading complex analytics projects.

You will be responsible for:

  • Identifying opportunities for clients, designing and implementing analytics solutions, enabling client teams and supporting Google Cloud projects, particularly those involving BigQuery and Dataform.
  • Supporting a range of existing client engagements, including GA360 support, analytics implementation, audit work and Google Cloud projects.
  • Working with internal teams and clients to define analytics strategies, identify key metrics and establish the data sources needed to measure app and website performance effectively.
  • Implementing measurement plans using tag management platforms such as Google Tag Manager and Adobe Data Collection / Adobe Launch.
  • Creating custom dashboards and reports using tools such as Looker Studio to provide clear data visualisation, reporting and actionable insight for clients.
  • Processing GA4 data and other data sources in BigQuery, using tools and workflows such as BigQuery pipelines, Dataform and wider Google Cloud Platform solutions.
  • Identifying opportunities to improve internal processes and drive innovation in data collection, analysis and reporting.
  • Building strong client relationships and acting as a key point of contact across client projects.
  • Leading and supporting delivery across multiple client accounts, ensuring work is completed to a high standard.
  • Supporting the development of junior team members through mentoring, training and knowledge sharing.

Requirements:

  • Around 4–5+ years’ experience in digital analytics, with a strong focus on tagging and implementation.
  • Strong hands-on experience with tag management platforms such as Google Tag Manager and/or Adobe Data Collection / Adobe Launch.
  • Proven experience leading complex GA4 implementation projects.
  • Experience working agency-side, including managing or contributing to multiple client projects at the same time.
  • Strong project management skills, including the ability to prioritise effectively and manage multiple projects simultaneously.

Salary: Competitive salary in the region of £55,000–£65,000, depending on experience.

Holiday allowance: 25 days’ annual leave per year, plus Christmas closure, which is typically an additional 3–4 days. This will be pro-rated for the contract period.

Mental health and wellbeing support: Unlimited access to mental health and wellbeing support through a dedicated wellbeing platform.

Pension: 8% total pension contribution, made up of 4% employee contribution and 4% employer match.

This could include self-development, internal learning sessions, training or upskilling. The agency does not operate fixed learning budgets, but actively encourages attendance at relevant conferences and training, with costs covered where appropriate.

Home office set-up: No fixed budget, but the agency wants employees to be able to work just as effectively from home as from the office. Hybrid working: Shoreditch-based office. The expectation is 3 days per week in the office during the first 3 months, reducing to a mandatory 2 days per week after that.
