Our client is a leading designer and manufacturer of advanced RF and microwave solutions, supplying innovative products to the telecommunications, space, defence, and aerospace sectors. Due to continued growth, they are seeking an Electronics Engineer to join their Systems Engineering team and play a key role in the development of next generation systems.

As a Senior Electronics Design Engineer, you will be responsible for the design, development, integration, and testing of advanced analogue and digital electronic systems. Working within a multidisciplinary engineering team, you will collaborate closely with RF, software, firmware, and systems engineers to deliver high performance products from concept through to manufacture.

Responsibilities:

  • Design and develop analogue, digital, and mixed signal electronic circuits.
  • Develop signal conditioning circuits, amplifiers, filters, and power supply solutions.
  • Design digital systems incorporating microprocessors, ADCs, DACs, and associated interfaces.
  • Produce specifications, perform simulations, and support component selection activities.
  • Participate in design reviews and technical discussions.
  • Create schematics and support PCB design activities.
  • Support new product introduction and ongoing product improvements.

Requirements:

  • Degree qualified in Electronic Engineering or equivalent industry experience.
  • Strong experience in analogue and digital electronics design.
  • Experience producing schematics and supporting PCB development.
  • Familiarity with laboratory test equipment such as oscilloscopes, multimeters, logic analysers, and spectrum analysers.
