We are supporting a leading UK high-technology engineering organisation developing advanced electro-optical, thermal imaging, and night vision systems for global defence and industrial markets. They are building a new New Product Introduction (NPI) team and require an Electronics Engineer to support the transition of products from design into production.
Role Overview
You will work between R&D and manufacturing, ensuring PCB designs are manufacturable, testable, and ready for production. A key part of the role is improving production test processes and supporting smooth NPI builds.
Key Requirements
- Degree in Electronic Engineering or similar
- Strong experience with Altium Designer (essential)
- PCB design and electronics manufacturing experience
- Good understanding of DFM / DFA / DFT
- Experience moving designs into production
- Experience with PCB assembly and test processes
Desirable
- Analogue, digital, or power electronics experience
- Microcontrollers / USB / video systems
- Test automation (C#, C++, LabVIEW)
- Defence / high-reliability manufacturing background
