- Junior RF Engineer Job Responsibilities
- Support the design and development of RF and microwave circuits and Solid State Power Amplifiers.
- Assist with RF simulations using Microwave Office (AWR) or similar software.
- Carry out circuit simulations using LT Spice where required.
- Support PCB schematic capture and RF layout using Altium Designer.
- Assist with laboratory testing using Vector Network Analysers, spectrum analysers, signal generators and power meters.
- Analyse test results and compare measured performance with simulation data.
Skills Required
- Degree in Electronic Engineering, RF & Microwave Engineering, Wireless Communications or a related discipline.
- Good understanding of analogue and RF electronic principles.
- RF, microwave, antenna or wireless communications project experience gained through university, internships or placements.
- Knowledge of RF simulation tools such as Microwave Office (AWR), ADS or CST would be beneficial.
