A leading organisation within the UK nuclear sector is seeking an experienced HSE Manager at Avonmouth to support a major nuclear new-build programme. This is a permanent position offering a key leadership role within Health, Safety, Environment, and Nuclear Safety on one of the UK’s most high-profile infrastructure projects.

The HSE Manager at Avonmouth, Bristol will lead the development, implementation, and continuous improvement of HSE systems and processes. Safety is the organisation’s highest priority, and the HSE Manager at Avonmouth, Bristol will play a critical role in promoting and maintaining a strong nuclear safety culture across all site activities and supply chain partners.

The HSE Manager at Avonmouth, Bristol will:

  • Lead and manage the HSE team supporting New Build Projects at Avonmouth, Bristol
  • Ensure compliance with Health, Safety, Environmental, and Radiological requirements
  • Own and maintain ISO-certified management systems (ISO 9001, 14001, 45001, 19443)
  • Support site activities through RAMS, ITPs, audits, inspections, and assurance processes

Knowledge, Skills, and Experience

The successful HSE Manager at Avonmouth, Bristol will demonstrate:
