We are currently recruiting for a skilled operative experienced in Assembly and basic inspection based in Gloucester. Ensuring that product is delivered on time to internal stores and also ensuring product and paperwork is conforming to customer requirements.
The main responsibilities for the Assembly Operator include:
- Complete Bending, Assembly and Part Marking activities to customer specification
- Checking paperwork for completion and sign off of all manufacturing operations
- Ensuring operations are fully booked and parts are received into stock in ERP system
- Counting and confirming part quantities are accurate to the manufacturing order
- Liaising with material controller to move product from manufacturing cell into the internal stores function
- Raise any performance or H issues
Experience required:
- Experience in basic inspection activities
- Experience with using an ERP system
- Computer literacy
- Ability to communicate clearly and effectively with team members
- Attention to detail
Working Hours: Double Days (1-week rotations) Early shifts - Mon-Thurs: 6am - 2pm
