Database Administrator (JuniorMid Level)

Were hiring a JuniorMid Level SQL Server DBA to join our Client\’s Data Services team. Ideal for someone with solid SQL Server experience who wants to grow their skills in a supportive, technically strong environment.

What Youll Do

• Support SQL Server installation, configuration, patching and monitoring
• Maintain database performance, availability and reliability
• Perform backups, restores, health checks and routine maintenance
• Troubleshoot performance issues (blocking, deadlocks, slow queries)
• Assist with HA/DR, capacity planning and security controls
• Work with development and infrastructure teams
• Document fixes, processes and improvements

What Youll Need

• 2+ years SQL Server DBA experience
• Strong T-SQL and troubleshooting skills
• Good understanding of SQL Server admin fundamentals
• Experience with backups, restores and production environments
• Exposure to performance tuning concepts
• Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail

Nice to Have

• Replication experience
• HA/DR exposure
• PowerShell or automation interest
• CI/CD awareness (Azure DevOps, Jenkins)
• Azure SQL or cloud experience
• SSIS or data integration knowledge
• Microsoft certifications
