About The Role

Days of Working: Monday, Tuesday, Wednesday, Thursday, Friday 6am to 2pm.

Specialist Window Cleaning (SWC), part of the OCS Group, is recruiting a Window Cleaning Operative to join our team.

Key Responsibilities

  • To carry out works scheduled by the supervisor or line manager in a timely, safe manner.
  • Be aware of the condition of the equipment to ensure it is in safe working order; check regularly and service as required.
  • Report any faults to supervisor/management.
  • Comply with all Company & Client policies and statutory health & safety regulations relating to Health & Safety, safe working practices, hygiene, cleanliness, fire and COSHH.
  • Follow client/company guidelines with regard to identification and reporting of health and safety hazards (e.g., blocked/locked fire doors).
  • Report any customer complaints or compliments and take remedial action if possible. Report immediately any incidents of accident, fire, theft, loss, damage or other irregularities to the Line Manager/supervisor.

You Will Meet The Following Criteria

  • Must have right to work in the UK.
  • You must hold a full UK Driving License.
  • You will have experience in window cleaning and ideally in working at heights and high buildings.
  • You must have the ability to work well on your own, be self-sufficient and motivated, whilst also being comfortable working as part of a team and following instruction.
  • A professional attitude.
