Shift Pattern: Monday to Friday
As a Sous Chef, you will ensure the smooth running of kitchen services and maintain high hygiene standards. You will lead the kitchen team, monitor food quality, and ensure all meals are fresh, appetising, and meet customer requirements. You will also manage budgets, comply with Health and Safety regulations, and develop staff to maintain high standards.
Your key responsibilities will include, but are not limited to:
- To create daily menus that wow our customers, keep up with current food trends and look after our customers' wellbeing and nutrition
- To promote the use of sustainability and be mindful of carbon footprint
- To lead, motivate, develop and inspire the team
- Ensure the kitchen operates at our high company and legal standards
- Ensure all allergy and nutrition data is compliant
- Food preparation, ordering, full stock management
- Driving the food safety in the kitchen to ensure compliance training and documentation is fulfilled
- To effectively manage within budgetary constraints
The ideal candidate should meet the following criteria:
- Must have right to work in the UK
- Experience as a Head Chef with a proven track record
- Significant kitchen management experience in a similar role
- Experience of managing the preparation & cooking of fresh food in a fast-paced environment
- Previous experience developing the skills of a team
- Level 3 Certificate in Food Safety and Hygiene
