About The Role

Hours per week: 9am to 5pm

We're looking for an experienced Remodel Project Manager to lead retail refurbishment and remodel projects from initial planning through to successful completion. You'll coordinate contractors, consultants, and stakeholders to ensure projects are delivered safely, on time, within budget, and with minimal disruption to store operations and customer experience. The role ensures remodel projects are effectively scoped, approved, planned, delivered and handed over whilst meeting operational, financial and customer experience objectives.

Key Responsibilities

  • Manage retail remodel and refurbishment projects from planning through to completion.
  • Define project scope, review drawings, and coordinate contractors, suppliers, and consultants.
  • Lead site meetings, pre-start meetings, progress reviews, and project handovers.
  • Monitor project timelines, budgets, quality standards, and project risks.
  • Build and maintain effective relationships with store teams and key stakeholders.
  • Track project progress and provide regular status updates and reporting.
  • Identify, manage, and resolve project issues, delays, and change requests.
  • Ensure works are delivered safely, compliantly, and with minimal disruption to store operations.
  • Conduct snagging inspections and oversee the completion of outstanding actions.
  • Manage project documentation, handover packs, compliance records, and final close-out activities.
  • Support the review of project costs, final accounts, and invoice reconciliation.
  • Drive high standards of delivery, customer experience, and operational excellence.

Key Skills & Experience

  • Proven experience managing retail fit-out, refurbishment, construction, or remodel projects.
  • Strong project management and organisational skills.
  • Excellent stakeholder management and communication skills.
  • Experience managing contractors, suppliers, and third-party consultants.
  • Strong budget management and commercial awareness.
  • Ability to manage multiple projects and competing priorities.
  • Skilled at identifying risks and implementing effective solutions.
  • Knowledge of health & safety and construction compliance requirements.
  • Strong problem-solving and decision-making capabilities.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office and project management tools.
  • Self-motivated, adaptable, and able to work independently.
  • Full UK driving licence and willingness to travel regularly.
