About The Role
- Days of Working: Monday to Friday
- Working hours: 06:00 – 14:00. The schedule may vary depending on the site, client and other factors.
Main Function of the Position:
- Carry out window cleaning tasks involving window cleaning from BMU or MEWP (training provided), or via Water‑Fed Poles and traditional methods.
- Execute works scheduled by the supervisor or line manager in a timely, safe manner.
- Use specialised equipment (provided by the company) and techniques to effectively remove dirt, stains, and allergens.
- Follow established schedules to conduct periodic deep cleaning tasks as per client requests.
- Respond to specialised cleaning requests directed by management or clients, adapting techniques and equipment as needed.
- Be available for emergency callouts, responding promptly to urgent cleaning needs in various locations.
- Comply with all Company & Client policies and statutory regulations relating to Health & Safety, safe working practices, hygiene, cleanliness, fire and COSHH.
- Follow client/company guidelines with regards to the identification and reporting of health and safety hazards, e.g., blocked or locked fire doors.
- Report any customer complaints or compliments and take remedial action where possible; report immediately any incidents of accident, fire, theft, loss, damage or other irregularities to the Line Manager or supervisor.
You Will Meet the Following Criteria:
- Right to work in the UK.
- Full UK Driving Licence.
- Experience in window cleaning and ideally experience working at heights and on high buildings.
- Ability to work well independently, be self‑sufficient and motivated while also collaborating effectively with a team and following instruction.
- Availability for some weekend and out‑of‑hours work, pre‑planned and treated as overtime.
- A professional attitude.
