About The Company

OCS UK complete all planned duties on time and maintain top standards of personal appearance/uniform. Assign and manage team tasks daily to meet the operational needs, oversee collection/distribution of miscellaneous items and ad-hoc requests. Organise and manage the flow of pharmacy boxes, laundry (collect dirty/distribute clean), mail and deliveries (including outgoing mail), oxygen and gas bottle distribution, meal trolley delivery/return, general rubbish collection, and clinical waste arrangements. Maintain safe systems of work before tasks; ensure plant/equipment are fit for purpose; raise health and safety concerns; collaborate with Group Health and Safety; deputise for the Line Manager when required; maintain adequate cover to meet service needs. Maintain ISO 9002 compliance where responsible; use key operating tools (e.g., auditing and Timegate); provide efficient feedback to the client on tasks/requests.

Ideal Candidate

  • Standard level education with good English and arithmetic;
  • NVQ Level 2 in Logistics Management desirable (training provided if not held);
  • Proven experience in portering and logistics (essential);
  • Health problem solving ability;
  • Full UK driving licence (if required);
  • Flexible working; clean enhanced DBS.
