About The Role:
Shift Pattern: Any 4 out of 7. 10 hour shifts 08:00 - 18:00 or lates depending on the season 11:00 - 21:00 or 12:00 - 22:00. Weekend 1 in 3
As a Park Maintenance Technician, you will ensure the safety, reliability, and overall presentation of Alton Towers Resort. You will carry out Planned Preventative Maintenance (PPM) and reactive maintenance across rides, attractions, facilities, and park infrastructure.
Key Responsibilities:
- Perform routine PPM tasks across park facilities, rides, and infrastructure.
- Respond promptly to reactive maintenance issues.
- Carry out general maintenance duties including basic mechanical, electrical, plumbing, carpentry, and grounds-related tasks.
- Conduct inspections and report defects or hazards.
- Ensure all work complies with health and safety standards.
- Maintain accurate documentation of work completed.
- Support seasonal park operations including openings, closures, and event setups.
- Work collaboratively with other maintenance and operations teams.
Qualifications & Experience:
- Level 2 qualification in a relevant field (Mechanical Engineering, Electrical Engineering, Maintenance Operations, etc.)
- Experience in a maintenance or technical environment.
- Strong practical skills across a range of maintenance disciplines.
- Ability to prioritise workload in a fast-paced environment.
- Excellent problem-solving skills with a safety-first mindset.
- Flexibility to work 5 days over 7, including weekends.
