Working Pattern 4 days on Ordering of spare parts. Arranging Shift Rota. Checking maintenance standards undertaken by shift engineers. Raising status of problems/breakdowns with the wider business. Covering shifts where appropriate. Raising remedial work orders using the CAFEM System. Adding breakdowns to the CAFEM System. Dealing with any matters of discipline with site Management. Ensuring all work undertaken by or in the presence of the Senior Engineer is done so in accordance with all company and legal safety standards (e.g. Health and Safety at Work Act 1974, Engineering Activity Sign Off, local Safe Systems of Work). Ensuring site operations are undertaken within company procedures and guidelines in general and were observed otherwise ensure the site Management team are made aware. Ideal Candidate Excellent communication skills (verbal and written). Electrical Installation Maintenance. Mechanical Fabrication/Maintenance. Electronic fault finding to component level. Ability to develop effective working relationships across all levels of management and staff and work as part of a team. High attention to detail. Ability to make decisions. Flexible and able to react quickly to the needs of the business. Problem solving/analytical ability. Self-motivated. Flexibility to work unsocial hours, possibly including night shift.
