About the Role

Days of Working: Monday to Friday 08:00 – 17:00. This is a 12‑month fixed‑term contract. OCS is recruiting a Receptionist to join their team. The successful candidate will be part of a passionate and driven team, delivering exceptional customer service in a busy, professional environment.

Responsibilities

  • Serve as the first point of contact, greeting clients and staff with a focus on delivering an outstanding customer experience.
  • Manage reception processes, including issuing visitor and contractor passes and ensuring proper sign‑in procedures.
  • Handle incoming calls efficiently and assist with customer enquiries.
  • Oversee meeting room bookings and support event logistics, including room setup and customer assistance.
  • Perform mailroom duties and support building health and safety procedures as required.

Qualifications

  • Previous experience in a high‑profile Reception or Front of House role is essential.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications.
  • Strong customer service skills with excellent verbal and written communication.
  • Highly organised with attention to detail and professional presentation.
  • Must be able to obtain DBS, BPSS, and SC clearances (processed and funded by the business).
