Cleaning Supervisor in Oxford

Shift pattern: 6am to 11am, Monday to Friday and 9am to 2pm on Saturday.

As Supervisor, you will ensure that cleaning staff perform their duties efficiently, maintain high cleanliness standards, and contribute to a safe and hygienic environment.

• Oversee and assist with the cleaning of all areas within the cleaning specification (plus other ad hoc areas/duties, as required).
• Manage a small team, looking after rotas, holidays, absence management within budget and performance management to achieve a consistently high standard of cleaning.
• Deliver coaching/training, including health & safety, to all cleaning operatives and ensure all records are updated correctly.
• Conduct cleaning audits on a weekly basis and raise any concerns for support.
• Lead weekly team meetings and briefing sessions with your team to ensure clear and consistent communication.
• Manage the ordering of stock and consumables, update the stock management system and distribute to cleaning stores.
• Interact regularly with customers/clients, assisting them when needed and communicating at all levels.
• Plan high level and deep cleaning works as required.
• Ensure adherence to company policies and procedures.

• Right to work in the UK.
• Previous supervisory experience preferably in a cleaning environment.
• Good IT skills, including use of systems and MS Office.
• Desire to lead a team and oversee tasks.
• Excellent customer service skills.
• Ability to work to deadlines, prioritise and be flexible with working hours and days.
• Strong attention to detail.
