About The Role
Working in our Technical Services mobile team on a Major Retail contract, with opportunities to support other Commercial and Residential contracts within our expanding division.
Key Responsibilities
- Complete all Reactive Works orders and PPMs within the contract-defined SLAs & KPIs.
- Contribute to overall efficiency, effectiveness, and contract profitability.
- Support the implementation of an integrated service delivery approach, ensuring all works are safe, timely, within budget, and meet quality standards.
- Provide on-call support approximately 1 week in 8.
- Plan, inspect, and carry out repairs or preventative maintenance, responding to breakdowns promptly.
- Perform building fabric repairs, small plumbing, joinery, and other maintenance tasks.
- Assist with other facilities work as required.
- Provide quotations for recommended works.
- Ensure safety procedures are followed before starting work.
- Maintain high standards on-site and provide general handyman services, including L8 compliance.
- Liaise with subcontractors, cleaners, and security to ensure effective facilities management.
- Respond to callouts approximately once every 4 weeks.
Essential Hiring Criteria
- Time-served Fabric Engineer with maintenance experience.
- Skills in Carpentry, Painting & Decorating, Door Hanging, Carpet/Lino repairs, Glazing, Masonry, Locksmithing, Tiling, and ceiling grid/tile work.
- L8 ACOP certification.
- Knowledge of safety documentation and site safety procedures.
- Legionella awareness.
- CSCS Skills card or equivalent.
- First Aid certification.
- Valid driving license.
- Basic IT skills, including Excel and Microsoft Office.
