Working in our Technical Services mobile team on a Major Retail contract with opportunities to support other Commercial and Residential contracts in our continually expanding division.

Key Responsibilities
  • Ensure all delegated Reactive Works orders and PPMs are completed within the contract-defined time SLAs & KPIs.
  • Contribute to overall efficiency, effectiveness, and contract profitability, supporting the delivery of services.
  • Support the implementation of an integrated approach for the delivery of all contracted services, ensuring all works are delivered safely, on time, within budget, and to quality standards.
  • Provide on-call cover on average 1 in 8 weeks.
  • Plan, inspect, and carry out repairs or preventative maintenance, responding to breakdowns promptly.
  • Perform building fabric repairs, small plumbing, joinery, and other maintenance tasks.
  • Assist the maintenance team with facilities work as required.
  • Provide quotations for recommended works.
  • Follow safe systems of work prior to commencing activities.
  • Ensure site cleanliness and high standards, including general handyman services and L8 compliance.
  • Liaise with subcontractors, cleaners, and security to ensure effective facilities management.
  • Respond to client callouts as per rota, on average 1 in 4 weeks.
Essential Hiring Criteria
  • Time-served Fabric engineer with maintenance background.
  • Skills in Carpentry, Painting & Decorating, Door Hanging, Carpet/Lino repairs, Glazing, Masonry, Locksmithing, Tiling, and ceiling grids/tiles.
  • L8 ACOP certification.
  • Knowledge of safety documentation and site safety procedures.
  • Legionella awareness.
  • CSCS Skills card or equivalent.
  • First Aid certification.
  • Valid driving licence.
  • Basic IT skills, including Excel and Microsoft Office.
