About The Role
The Maintenance Team Leader will lead a small multi‑disciplinary maintenance shift team, ensuring compliance with Planned Preventive Maintenance (PPM) schedules and efficient execution of reactive maintenance tasks. The role acts as the first point of escalation for all technical issues, ensuring operational continuity and safety across the resort. Shift pattern: 5 days out of 7.
Key Responsibilities
- Leadership & Team Management: Supervise and coordinate a multi‑skilled maintenance team during assigned shifts. Allocate tasks and monitor performance to ensure timely completion of work.
- PPM Compliance: Ensure all planned maintenance activities are completed in line with schedules and standards. Maintain accurate records of completed tasks and raise any compliance risks.
- Reactive Maintenance: Prioritise and execute reactive maintenance jobs promptly to minimise downtime. Troubleshoot technical issues and provide hands‑on support where necessary.
- Technical Escalation: Act as the first point of contact for technical issues during shifts. Liaise with senior engineers and management for complex problem resolution.
- Safety & Compliance: Ensure all work is carried out in accordance with health and safety regulations. Promote a culture of safety and continuous improvement within the team.
- Communication & Reporting: Provide clear handovers between shifts and maintain accurate logs of activities. Report on team performance, asset condition and any operational challenges.
Skills & Experience
Essential: Proven experience in maintenance leadership within a multi‑disciplinary environment. Strong knowledge of PPM systems and reactive maintenance processes. Ability to diagnose and resolve technical issues across mechanical, electrical and general maintenance disciplines. Excellent organisational and communication skills.
Desirable: Experience in theme park or leisure industry environments. Familiarity with CMMS systems and asset management practices.
Additional Information
This role involves working shifts, including weekends and holidays. Flexibility to respond to emergency situations outside normal hours may be required.
