About The Role

Main Responsibilities

  • Fulfil the role of Bronze where appropriate on events where a command structure is put in place.
  • To manage the team of security supervisors in line with policy and procedures.
  • Daily management of the Security Control Room rota to ensure appropriate cover that aligns itself to the resource levels dictated in the Current Security measures.
  • Manage the deployment of the security team to ensure maximum optimisation of resource.
  • To manage the teams rota, sickness and annual leave to ensure that there is suitable cover at all times.
  • To be the point of contact for all initial team queries or escalations.
  • Manage the security control room, systems and its access to ensure compliance with policy, reporting any areas of non-compliance to the relevant responsible teams.
  • To audit delivery from the security team to identify any training gaps and to source or deliver training to address these gaps.
  • Monitor and manage access to Chessington World of Adventures Resort premises and restricting access to ensure there are no unauthorised personnel.
  • Maintain a detailed understanding of visitor management system and support procedures to ensure they are adhered to.
  • Conduct person, property, and vehicle searches to meet policies and procedures, or as requested by Operations management.
  • Assist the Regional Operations Manager in developing standard processes and procedures for the security team and ensure they are implemented.
  • To communicate effectively with all campus stakeholders to promote a combined approach to security responses on the estate.

To be considered for this role, you will need

  • Right to work in the UK
  • Frontline SIA licence
  • Experience within a Security Supervisor/Team Leader or Management role, responsible for security and control rooms
  • Experience working at a busy environment or venue (shopping centre, leisure, theme park, football stadium, concert arena or within the entertainment centre etc)
  • Line management experience
  • Ability to build relationships with internal colleagues and external stakeholders
