How to prepare for a job interview at OCS

Showcase Your Cleaning Skills

During the interview, be ready to share specific cleaning techniques you've mastered. Whether it’s using particular cleaning equipment or efficient methods for different spaces, showing that you know your trade will help you stand out to OCS.

Discuss Flexibility and Availability

Since this is a part-time role, make sure to emphasise your flexibility in managing work hours. Companies like OCS that may require weekend or evening shifts will appreciate your willingness to adapt.

Bring a Cleanliness Portfolio

It might sound unusual, but creating a portfolio showcasing successful cleaning projects or before-and-after photos can give you an edge. If you’ve handled challenging situations or restored areas to pristine conditions, showing evidence will give them confidence in your skills.

Cleaning isn’t always a solo job, and many times you’ll work alongside others. Be prepared to discuss your experience working in teams, how you handle communication with colleagues, and any feedback from previous roles in cleaning, as this reflects well on your candidacy for OCS.
