We are seeking motivated individuals to join our team as Building Services Engineering Apprentices at our client sites. This 4‑year apprenticeship programme will provide you with comprehensive training in the maintenance and repair of essential building services systems across our prestigious sites. Building Services Engineering is a specialist branch of engineering within the Facilities Management sector that makes buildings work effectively and efficiently. As an apprentice in this field, you will learn to plan and complete a variety of maintenance activities involving industrial and commercial building services engineering systems, including ventilation, heating and water supply systems.
Key Responsibilities
- Carry out scheduled preventative maintenance on building services systems
- Complete remedial and corrective repairs as required
- Monitor and manage plant and equipment operation using building and energy management systems
- Fault find, diagnose, repair and maintain systems, components and equipment
- Conduct regular inspections to identify potential issues before they become major problems
- Maintain detailed records of work completed, including repairs and replacements
- Ensure compliance with current industry standards and regulations
- Communicate effectively with clients, suppliers, site managers and other trades on site
- Work collaboratively with our experienced engineering teams
Work Environment
You will work at one of our client facilities, maintaining the complex building systems.
