Account Manager – Retail
As an Account Manager within Retail, you will play a crucial role as the liaison between our organisation and our clients.
You will ensure we are providing excellent customer service and delivering works to the contract specifications.
Location: Head office in Ipswich, Suffolk. Travel between client sites across UK required. Must hold a full UK driving licence.
Hours: Flexible, 8 hours per day Monday to Friday, predominantly 9am to 5.30pm.
Responsibilities
- Ensure that all works are delivered to the contract specifications/SLAs and provide technical and operational support to direct reports.
- Develop and maintain strong relationships with clients, relevant stakeholders, staff, and external bodies to aid business development and retention.
- Create and implement account plans to meet client objectives.
- Serve as the primary point of contact for clients, ensuring clear communication and resolving any issues.
- Track account performance and provide updates to both clients and internal teams.
Qualifications
- Excellent communication skills including presentation and written report writing.
- Excellent negotiation and problem‑solving skills.
- Strong IT skills including MS Office 365 skills, particularly Excel.
- Highly motivated, self‑starter, can work autonomously and deliver against tight deadlines.
- Enjoy working with data and delight in providing relevant and accurate reporting to support operational decision‑making.
