Days of Working: The typical working pattern is Monday to Friday (with weekend working to meet the needs of the business when required).

As an Operations Support Manager, you will provide professional operational direction to ensure high-quality service delivery within budget and service levels. You will be responsible for the safe and successful running of the contract, ensuring a safe environment for all involved. Additionally, you will ensure the operational team is well-recruited, trained, and motivated, fostering goodwill and high performance towards the company and customers.

Your key responsibilities will include, but are not limited to:

  • Providing professional operational direction, supporting the business in delivering efficiently and effectively its commitments to our clients in the provision of a service completed to a high standard within the agreed budget and service levels.
  • Having responsibility for the success and safe running of the contract and ensuring that the team is always operating in a safe environment for themselves, OCS colleagues, our client, members of the public and supply partners.
  • Monitoring and reporting on the quality and financial performance of the services within the scope of the contract, including innovation in service delivery.
  • Aiming to continuously improve the service delivery to the client.
  • Working as part of a busy team, self-starting and achieving common goals and business strategies.
  • Ensuring that the operational team is recruited, trained and retained, thus ensuring the highest level of goodwill and motivation towards the company and customers is attained.

The ideal candidate should meet the following criteria:

  • Must have Right to Work in the UK.
  • An enhanced DBS will be completed for the successful candidate.
  • Degree or equivalent as a minimum.
  • Office based qualifications including Training and Auditing.
  • Excellent IT qualifications including Microsoft Office, Excel, PowerPoint, Word and statistical systems.
  • Relevant professional membership preferred in Cleaning.
  • NVQ or LIM Level 3 in management or similar or demonstrable time served experience.
  • IOSH general certificate in Safety management.
  • BIFM Desirable.
