Shift Pattern: Monday to Friday
As a Janitor, you will be responsible for maintaining cleanliness and orderliness in various settings in our public or private buildings. Your primary duty is to ensure that the environment is clean, safe, and sanitary for occupants and visitors.
Responsibilities
- Cleaning floors, walls, windows, and surfaces using the appropriate cleaning tools, equipment, and chemicals.
- Collect and dispose of trash and recyclables, emptying waste containers and ensuring proper separation of materials for recycling.
- Clean and disinfect restrooms, restock supplies such as toilet paper, soap, and paper towels, and ensure that fixtures and plumbing are in working order.
- Monitor and report safety hazards, ensuring fire extinguishers and emergency exits are accessible, and secure the premises at the end of the day.
- Track inventory levels of cleaning supplies and notify supervisors when restocking is needed.
- Perform ad hoc tasks such as carpet cleaning, buffing and waxing hard floors, and operating floor-cleaning machinery as required on site.
