The predicted salary is between 25785 - 31515 £ per year.
Working hours: Monday to Friday, 07.00pm - 16.00pm (overtime paid for weekends and Bank holidays).
You will undertake grounds maintenance works to communal environments including communal grounds around courts, open space grassed areas, and landscaped areas, and deliver the grounds programme as part of a team that contributes to excellent service delivery and green and safe environments. You will seasonally assist with snow and ice removal, gritting, litter picking, fly tip removal, and reporting of communal and environmental maintenance issues.
What You'll Be Doing:
- Complete grounds maintenance activities for the courts and communal environmental areas to the requirements of the courts Maintenance Specification including grass cutting, edging, hedge trimming, planting, spraying, and clearance of leaves and litter.
- Operate a range of hand tools and equipment (including power tools), carry out daily defect checks of tools and equipment, complete basic maintenance tasks, and report damage and maintenance issues.
- Report any graffiti, vandalism, repairs, and defects in the external communal areas where you are working.
- Seasonally assist with snow and ice clearance, gritting activities, and other health and safety maintenance required.
- Adhere to all relevant quality standards and health and safety/COSHH requirements.
- Undertake daily checks and ensure equipment is kept in a clean condition and stored correctly.
- Work safely with herbicides/pesticides in accordance with regulations and report invasive weeds.
- Cover any cleaning duties within the court for holidays and sickness cover.
- May have to cover weekend work for scheduled deep cleans.

- For the purposes of our van fleet insurance, you must have a minimum of 2 years driving experience with a full UK driving licence, be over the age of 21, and complete an online driver monitoring assessment prior to starting your role. If you are under 21 but have 2 years driving experience with a full UK driving licence, you would be required to complete an online driver monitoring assessment and additional in-vehicle assessment prior to starting your role funded by Great Places.
