Job Overview: The Asset Survey Operations Coordinator coordinates and manages various aspects of asset survey operations, including collecting, analysing, and managing data related to physical and nonâphysical assets.
Key Responsibilities
Strategic Planning and Coordination: Review project plans for optimal routes, timelines, and coverage; coordinate onâsite planning, ensuring PPE, site access, and security adherence.
Preparation and Quality Control: Prepare comprehensive work packs, check survey input and output for data accuracy, and provide targeted training to surveyors.
Communication, Compliance, and Improvement: Facilitate effective communication liaison, ensure compliance with standards for accuracy, and contribute to continuous improvement initiatives.
Project Review and Work Pack Preparation: Assess routes, timelines, and coverage; set up surveyors for success with floor plans, operation manuals, and asset details.
OnâSite Coordination: Arrange onâsite requirements, manage PPE, site access, security clearance, and act as the point of contact for client representatives.
Quality Control & Data Management: Thoroughly check survey input and output, rectify inaccuracies, and maintain accurate and upâtoâdate asset records.
Training & Development: Produce and implement targeted training for surveyors, manage inâhouse and external training sessions.
Strategic Planning & Logistics: Collaborate on strategic planning, assist with logistics, optimize resource use, and ensure adherence to industry regulations.
Continuous Improvement & Problem Resolution: Identify opportunities to enhance processes and address issues or challenges during operations.
Additional Functions
Assume extra responsibilities outside core surveying tasks when needed, including assisting other teams or departments.
Participate in crossâfunctional collaboration, gathering information and contributing to organizationâwide projects.
Respond to emergency or unforeseen circumstances with organisational and problemâsolving skills.
Engage in ongoing professional development to stay updated on industry trends and advancements.
Communicate and document effectively for any additional tasks undertaken, ensuring transparency and smooth transitions.
Prioritise and allocate resources effectively when resources are limited to meet organisational objectives.
Qualifications & Skills
A qualification in a relevant field such as Surveying, Engineering, Project Management, or a related discipline.
Timeâserved surveyor or relevant discipline tradesperson experience.
Proven experience in project management, particularly in coordinating and overseeing survey operations.
Familiarity with the industry or sector in which asset survey operations are conducted.
Experience in coordinating onâsite logistics and managing resources efficiently.
Understanding and experience in ensuring compliance with industry regulations and standards.
Involvement in continuous improvement initiatives and implementing process enhancements.
Strong verbal and written communication skills for internal teams, external vendors, and clients.
Strong problemâsolving skills and attention to detail for maintaining high standards of accuracy.
Ability to implement targeted training programs for surveyors and proficiency in relevant software tools for project management, data analysis, and survey operations.
Adaptability to evolving project requirements and proficiency in using security protocols in regulated environments.
All training provided by the company is mandatory, conducted during working hours, and attendance is compulsory.
