About The Role
This dynamic role requires a multi‑skilled security officer to ensure the safety and security of our customers, retailers and staff. Responsibilities include patrolling, conducting reactive and scheduled cleaning tasks, and responding to incidents on the estate. A Security and CCTV SIA License is required, along with willingness to clean and get involved.
Shift Pattern
- Monday 12:30-22:30
- Tuesday 12:30-22:30
- Saturday 6:00-12:30
- Sunday 7:00-13:00
Main Responsibilities
- Patrolling the site to ensure safety, security and cleanliness
- Advising and assisting retailers where necessary
- Daily general cleaning of the site, involving the use of cleaning machinery
- Reviewing CCTV
- Ensuring all daily tasks have been completed within deadline requirements
Health & Safety Accountabilities
- Communicate regularly with colleagues through formal and informal channels on safety matters to ensure there is a free flow of ideas and morale remains high.
- Ensure that the OCS safety image is reflected positively through your actions and those of your colleagues.
- Ensure that personal H&S competence and skill level is maintained (e.g., attended Managing Safety programme and other company safety events).
- Take responsibility for ensuring that plant and equipment is maintained and fit for purpose.

- Confidence within independent working.
- Comfortable working in all weathers.
