The Housekeeping Manager will be responsible for ensuring the cleanliness, hygiene, and overall appearance of facilities throughout the entire site location. This role involves strategic planning, team management, and continuous improvement to uphold the highest standards of cleanliness and sanitation.
Working Pattern: 05:45 – 13:15 hours, varied days and hours depending on business needs.
Responsibilities:
- Coordinate and manage cleaning staff to optimise efficiency and productivity.
- Monitor and manage inventory of cleaning supplies, equipment, and materials.
- Laundry management in conjunction with external suppliers.
- Maintain housekeeping equipment, manage inventory of linens and cleaning supplies, and ensure availability when needed.
- Assign cleaning tasks, schedule daily operations, and ensure adherence to organisational cleaning procedures and standards.
- Recruit, train, and supervise cleaning personnel.
- Motivate and lead the cleaning team to achieve performance targets and goals.
- Conduct performance evaluations, provide constructive feedback, and implement training programs for continuous improvement.
- Liaise with clients to understand their specific cleaning requirements and expectations.
- Provide regular updates on cleaning operations, address client concerns, and ensure client satisfaction.
- Manage budgets for cleaning supplies, equipment, and staffing.
- Customer Service focused: address guest complaints, special requests, and ensure a satisfying experience.
