Dual Services Supervisor

About The Role
Shift Pattern: 3 weeks: Thursday, Friday, Saturday and Sunday 7am – 5pm. 1 week: Tuesday, Wednesday, Thursday and Friday 7am – 5pm.
As a Dual Services Supervisor you will be responsible for overseeing the daily operations of the security team to ensure the safety and security of the site. Reporting to the Security Manager, you will coordinate security measures, supervise security personnel, and ensure compliance with all relevant regulations and standards.
Key Responsibilities
- Supervise and coordinate the activities of the security team, ensuring all tasks are completed efficiently and effectively.
- Act as the point of contact for clients and management regarding security matters.
- Conduct regular security assessments and risk analyses to identify potential threats and vulnerabilities.
- Ensure the correct escalation of incidents in line with the escalation process, maintaining accurate records.
- Oversee the operation of security systems, including CCTV, fire alarms, PA systems, VMS, intruder/panic alarms, BMS, ANPR, radio, and phone systems.
- Implement emergency procedures in accordance with the Incident and Emergency Plan.
- Conduct regular patrols to ensure the security of the premises.
- Provide training and guidance to security personnel, ensuring they are well‑prepared for their roles.
- Collaborate with other departments to ensure comprehensive security coverage.
- Address operational issues or challenges promptly, finding effective solutions to maintain smooth operations.
Qualifications
- You must have the right to work in the UK.
- Experience in a supervisory role within the security industry.
- SIA – Security Supervisor License preferred.
- Strong leadership and people management skills.
- Excellent problem‑solving abilities.
- Effective verbal and written communication skills.
- Proactive and adaptable, able to respond to changing demands and priorities.
- Reliable and punctual, with a strong work ethic and commitment to maintaining high standards.
- Knowledge of health and safety regulations and compliance.
