About The Role
Shift Pattern: Varied – casual cover. Shifts will be spread across two sites – Ellesmere Port and Aintree. We are looking for a multi‑skilled security officer to join our team. In this dynamic role you will ensure the safety and security of our customers, retailers and staff by conducting regular patrols, completing reactive and scheduled cleaning tasks and responding to incidents on the estate. This role requires a Security and CCTV SIA License along with the willingness to clean and get involved.
Main Responsibilities
- Patrol the site to ensure safety, security and cleanliness.
- Advise and assist retailers where necessary.
- Carry out daily general cleaning of the site, involving the use of cleaning machinery.
- Review CCTV.
- Ensure all daily tasks are completed within deadline requirements.
Health & Safety Accountabilities
- Communicate regularly with colleagues through formal and informal channels on safety matters to ensure a free flow of ideas and high morale.
- Reflect a positive OCS safety image through your actions and those of colleagues.
- Maintain personal H&S competence and skill level by attending the Managing Safety programme and other company safety events.
- Take responsibility for ensuring plant and equipment are maintained and fit for purpose.

- Front line security experience.
- SIA Qualification for security and CCTV.
- Confidence within independent working.
