About The Role
Days of Working: Monday – Friday 06:00 to 14:00, half an hour unpaid break
Are you ready to take on a leadership role and ensure high standards of cleanliness and hygiene? Join our team as a Domestic Supervisor and be part of a dedicated group committed to maintaining a safe and pleasant environment. As part of your role, your key responsibilities will include, but are not limited to:
- Allocate & organise day‑to‑day work tasks and activities, adjust staff rotas for unplanned absences and release staff for training.
- Monitor performance of duties as down in work schedules.
- Perform duties in accordance with approved methods, frequencies and standards.
- Train & assess staff in the use of equipment, machinery, COSHH and cleaning materials as directed.
- Make spot checks on wards and departments to check on cleaning standards.
The ideal candidate should meet the following criteria:
- Must have Right to Work in the UK.
- An enhanced DBS will be completed for the successful candidate.
- CILB City and Guilds NVQ Level 1 & 2 or equivalent qualification.
- Has demonstrated supervisory experience in a Domestic or Healthcare role.
- Conversant with protocols in relation to Infection Control and Decontamination (including Bioquell Q10 – HPV).
- Knowledge of National Standards of Cleanliness and understanding of COSHH and Health and Safety procedures.
