About The Role

Working Days: Mondays and Fridays only — Monday 0900-1800, Friday 0700-1700.

Are you passionate about customer service and security? Join OCS as a Security Officer in the Courts and Tribunal System and be part of a team that values your dedication and growth. We support our colleagues\’ development through funded programs and qualification opportunities.

Key Responsibilities include:

  • Providing excellent customer service, welcoming and guiding court users.
  • Monitoring premises via CCTV, x-ray machines, and conducting security checks such as metal detectors and bag searches.
  • Patrolling and securing access points, maintaining communication with the control room via radios.
  • Responding to panic alarms and security incidents within the complex, recording and reporting details.

Ideal Candidate Criteria:

  • Right to work in the UK.
  • Enhanced DBS and BS7858 security clearance for successful candidates.
  • SIA Licence and relevant security experience.
  • Strong customer service and interpersonal skills.
  • High diligence and standard of work.
  • Effective communication skills.

Attendance allowance of £1 per hour can be earned, subject to meeting attendance criteria.
