About The Role

We are looking for a Court & Tribunal Security Officer to work in our courts and tribunal system, ensuring safety and security of the public, staff and the premises.

Days of working: 08:30 – 16:30 and 09:00 – 17:00 Monday to Friday.

Responsibilities

  • Provide exceptional customer service and welcome/guide court users.
  • Monitor premises and visitors via CCTV, x‑ray machines, hand‑held metal detectors and bag searches on arrival.
  • Patrol and secure access to buildings and satellite buildings, keeping in contact with the control room using hand‑held radios.
  • Respond to panic alarm buttons in judges’ rooms, courts and offices.
  • Respond to security incidents within the complex, record and report details.

Qualifications

  • Right to work in the UK.
  • Enhanced DBS and BS7858 security clearance.
  • SIA licence and relevant security experience.
  • Strong people and customer service skills.
  • Good diligence and high standard of work.
  • Effective communication skills.
