About The Role
We are looking for a Court & Tribunal Security Officer to work in our courts and tribunal system, ensuring safety and security of the public, staff and the premises.
Days of working: 08:30 – 16:30 and 09:00 – 17:00 Monday to Friday.
Responsibilities
- Provide exceptional customer service and welcome/guide court users.
- Monitor premises and visitors via CCTV, x‑ray machines, hand‑held metal detectors and bag searches on arrival.
- Patrol and secure access to buildings and satellite buildings, keeping in contact with the control room using hand‑held radios.
- Respond to panic alarm buttons in judges’ rooms, courts and offices.
- Respond to security incidents within the complex, record and report details.
Qualifications
- Right to work in the UK.
- Enhanced DBS and BS7858 security clearance.
- SIA licence and relevant security experience.
- Strong people and customer service skills.
- Good diligence and high standard of work.
- Effective communication skills.
