About The Role
As part of your role, your key responsibilities will include, but are not limited to:
- Help with food preparation tasks such as peeling, chopping, trimming, and making sandwiches and salads.
- Maintain cleanliness in the kitchen area and equipment, including cleaning utensils, tableware, and catering stations.
- Assist with receiving and unpacking deliveries, ensuring organized storage of food and supplies.
- Serve food items to customers as per the menu prepared by the Chefs. May also act as a host/waiter during events.
- Top up vending services.
What are we looking for?
- Commercial kitchen experience is highly valued but not essential.
- Basic Catering and Hospitality certification such as Food Handling (desirable but not essential; training can be provided).
- Excellent time management skills and ability to work under pressure.
- Good organizational skills.
- Ability to stand for extended periods due to the physical nature of the job.
The Ideal Candidate Should Meet The Following Criteria
- Must have the Right to Work in the UK.
- A Level 2 Food Hygiene certificate is desirable but not essential (training available).
- Excellent customer service skills.
- Strong time-management and organizational abilities.
