About The Role

Days of Working: Monday to Friday 8, 9, or 10 hours between 07:00 and 19:00.

This is a flexible worker role, covering various shifts around a designated area. Typically shifts available are Monday – Friday to cover sickness and absence. Shift times will vary depending on the location that requires covering at the time.

Key Responsibilities

  • Provide exceptional customer service, welcoming and guiding court users.
  • Monitor premises and visitors via CCTV and x-ray machines, and conduct security checks such as hand-held metal detectors and bag searches.
  • Patrol and secure access to buildings and satellite sites; coordinate with the control room using hand-held radios.
  • Respond to panic alarms in Judges\' rooms, courts and offices.
  • Respond to security issues within the complex and record and report incidents.

The Ideal Candidate

  • Right to Work in the UK.
  • Enhanced DBS and BS7858 security clearance for the successful candidate.
  • SIA Licence and relevant security experience.
  • Strong people and customer service skills.
  • UK driving licence or ability to travel to multiple sites.
  • Good diligence and high standard of work; effective communication skills.
